Construction is booming where I live, and that’s terrific. Are you a tradesperson who has had such a busy summer that you haven’t touched your books in 2 or 3 (or 4, or more) months, and now you’re so far behind you don’t even want to think about starting?

Some people call it catch-up work, some call it clean-up, and some call it rescue, but whatever you call it, I can catch up your books and keep them caught up.

If you wait until the end of the year and then scramble to get things ready for your tax preparer, in important ways, that’s too late.  You won’t have known the financial health of your business in time to make mid-course corrections.

  • Are customers who owe you money paying on time?
  • Are your estimates priced right so every job is profitable?
  • Are some segments of your business more profitable than others?
  • Are your own bills being paid on time to avoid late fees and interest?

This is useful information now, not next January.

Here at Storry Bookkeeping, I help businesses in the construction trades “get your story straight” — and keep your business financially healthy.
